Before You Attend the Fairs
To prepare for the Fairs and your future, review Dr. Kevin Flemming’s video, Preparing for Life After High School ~ 4 Skills & Steps to a Successful Career. On his website, additional career-related videos are available for Students, Educators, and Parents. Newsweek has published several articles worthy of your time before talking with admissions reps. Making an Informed Decision
As you consider which institution and program is right for you, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) – Directories can provide you with the accrediting organization for the institution and program. For example, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education is the institutional accreditor for Penn State University. At the same time, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accredits its nursing program, providing graduates and now licensed nurses with a competitive edge when applying for employment.
