Automotive & Transportation Technology
Keep the world moving.
Automotive and transportation technology careers are hands-on, high-demand, and increasingly high-tech. Modern vehicles are rolling computers. Aircraft require sophisticated maintenance. The logistics industry moves everything you buy. If you like working with your hands, solving mechanical and electrical problems, and keeping critical systems running, these programs lead to stable, well-paying careers.
No four-year degree required. Many programs in this area can be completed in 6 months to 2 years through trade schools, technical colleges, community colleges, and apprenticeship programs. Some programs pay you while you train.
