Guidance on using and posting the printable flyers included in the Counselor Quick-Start Toolkit, plus the text content for each flyer type if you prefer to make your own.

Customizing the Flyers
Option 1 — Use the toolkit files (easiest):
The DOCX version of the toolkit includes editable Word versions of all three flyers. Open in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, replace the bracketed placeholders, and print.
Option 2 — Use your own design:
Copy the text above into any design tool (Canva, Publisher, Word) and apply your school's colors and logo. Each fair's details are on the fair schedule page.
Option 3 — Print as-is:
The PDF toolkit contains print-ready versions with placeholder text already formatted. Print directly if you don't need customization.
Printing Tips
- Color printing for the General Awareness and Fair-Specific flyers makes a significant impact on student attention. If color printing is limited, ask your school's main office — they often have color printers available for counseling materials.
- Laminate the General Awareness flyer if you want to post it long-term. The fair-specific version should be swapped for each new fair.
- Post at eye level for students (approximately 5'–5'6" from the floor).
- Include QR codes wherever possible — students are far more likely to scan than to type a URL. The QR codes in the downloaded flyers link directly to the fair registration page.
